How this product should be used:
Add The Missing Link Plus Canine Formula with Joint Support to your dog's food according to its weight. Because of the high fiber content, start with small amounts and gradually increase to the recommended level over the course of a week or two. Some animals with a weak immune system may benefit even more if their intake is doubled for the first 90 days following the adjustment period. For dogs up to 20 lbs give 1 teaspoon. For dogs 20 to 40 lbs give 2 teaspoons, for dogs 40 to 80 lbs give 3 teaspoons, for dogs 80 to 100 lbs give 4 teaspoons and for dogs over 100 lbs give 6 teaspoons.

Great results
Missing Link was recommended to me about 10 years ago and have used it on several dogs with great results. Better mobility and great benefit to the joints. I highly recommend it. I have always wondered if humans could also use the product since all the ingredients seem like it would benefit us also!

Missing Link is a life saver
My Tubbie (Red Heeler) is 16 years old. For several week's we noticed She could not lift and walk by herself without our help, I became fearful, until one day a co-worker shared with me a 1/2 bag of "missing Link"! I begin to give missing Link daily to my Tubbie with her dry dog food, and WOW! a miracle begin to occur over and over, Tubbie begin lifting up and walking all by herself again with just a tiny small discomfort, but she even begin showing signs of happiness again! We know she is old, but missing link is allowing Tubbie to remain with us for a while longer and without too much discomfort. Thanks to "missing link" !

Dogs love it
I have used this product for about 6 months now on all 3 of my dogs, 2 which are German Shepherds and one is a mix.. My oldest shepherd is 10 years old and we have tried other joint supplements to help with his hips and nothing really worked as well as this product has. The missing link also seems to help the other 2 dogs and the shedding has slowed down considerably. Glad I came across this product and would recommend it for any breed.

my dog likes it!
I have been giving my12 year old dog people pills for joint pain. Even broken in half, they have to be stuffed in a hot dog before she will touch them. Often, she eats the hot dog and spits out the pill. With the Missing Link, she dives right into her food and doesn't stare at it, like thank you for not making me eat hot dogs again!!! It's only been a few days, but it seems to as effective. She sure eats her food up, so it must taste pretty good, and no wasted meds now!!! I would recommend this!

Great product
I've used this product for my cattle dog Lollie for about 2 years after she had some problems periodically with her front leg. Since I've been using it, she hasn't had any problems with limping at all. It mixes well with her food, so no issues with taking it.

Thought about returning
If you want a product which settles to the bottom of the bowl so the dog does not get most if it, buy this. It is a powder which MOST go in the refrigerator in 2 zip lock bags AS RECOMMENDED ON BAG. I don't like to mix the food I give with wet food as it is not good for the teeth so I have to make a soup each time I feed my dog. I look forward in being done with this so I can use something else. I hate this product and would not tell anyone to buy it

Excellent product
I have 3 aging basset hounds, and the Missing Link has given them all easier movement. They walk longer and even play more. They all take it with their meals and have never refused to eat it. It's easy to administer and the bag lasts quite a long time, even with 3 dogs.

How much do I give a 10lb Pomeranian. And what amount to I start and how do I titrate to the recommended dose. First weight on chart is 20lbs, and that is long stretch from 10, so advice needed. Thank you

How long does 1 lb. package last?
I have a 50ish lb. dog. One tab on this page (product info?) says 3 tsp per day, another (how to use?) says 2 tsp for 50 lb dog.
Bottom line - how long should this 1 lb. package last for a 50 lb. dog and which is correct, 2 tsp or 3 tsp? (There is no standard conversion for tsp into lb. when dealing with a powdered or granular substance unless, of course, the density of the product is known.)
I use a plastic spoon and slightly heap it. I give my dogs one of these with their breakfast and one with dinner and they weigh around 75lbs.

Lab Dog with Seizures??
Can you give this to Dogs with seizure conditions? My three year old Labrador has Epilepsy and takes Kbr and Phenobarb meds twice every day. She is overweight and is showing some stress in her mobility. I would like to try this on her, providing it is safe to use with her condition.
