How this product should be used:
Apply generously into the ear canal. Gently massage the base of the ear. Allow pet to shake head, then clean excess with a cotton ball. For very dirty ears apply 2 to 3 times daily for several days. To keep your pet's ears clean and healthy, use 1 or 2 times weekly or as often as recommended by your veterinarian. Application after swimming is recommended.

If redness, irritation, or sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.

This product is for topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

I bought this for our newest family member. When I got her from the shelter she had ear infections. Even after she finished the drops she still scratched her ears often. I bought this to see if I could help her keep them clean. The difference was remarkable after the first use.
The best part ... she does most of the work herself. You add the cleaner to their ears, massage a bit, they shake their head, wipe off the excess. No digging into her ears, no arguing, no grumpy pup. I can't wait to try this on the terrier ears.

As a mom to five cats , two dogs , and the occasional neighborhood pet(s) it is a battle to clean ears . I love the idea of one solution so I don't have to make an already not pleasant task a nightmare . I love the fact I can cut down on the stress and get back to the best part of my animal children and that's seeing them happy and healthy.

Great results
This is the second time we have purchased this item and have found that it works wonderfully. It does not harm our beloved pet, he likes it, and it is soothing for him. Rids his ears of odor and wax. Smells fresh and he is happy. We would definitely recommend this product. It is a gentle solution and works great!

I love this product
I have to use this product every time my Lab has a bath. If I forget,she will be shaking her head within a couple of days. Once I clean her ears good she is fine. I recommend this to all my friends with dogs.

Cleaned up the smelly brown bits in dog's ears
We got the big bottle because we anticipated having to practice a bit as our dog is very squirmy. One towel comfortably around the dog and one towel ready to encase the splatter seems to help. The product is safe to use more than once, so we felt comfortable with our first couple of misses until we finally got it in the ears. It does smell medicinal, not overwhelmingly so, but we may be used to those types of aromas. The medicinal smell lingers in the dog's ears, but fades away a few hours after the cleaning. Both ears look and smell clean!
The product arrived as estimated and the dog enjoyed the delicious biscuit. Thank you!

Very good product
My puppy had a VERY BAD ear infection, I got everything needed to cured him at this site. Vets are too expensive so I trusted the suggestions and reviews, happy to say that infection is gone and now I use the cleansing solution as a preventive measure. Highly recommend this.

Can I use if it is expired?
I personally would not use if expired but that is up to the owner to decide. I would rather order another bottle or one of a smaller size if you find you are not using the entire bottle.

Does it cause any "greasy" stain on the fur around the ear? I have a golden retriever and a solution I got at my vet's made his fur look greasy.
No, no greasy feeling left behind. It is clean and fresh.

You use to have a baby powder scent ear cleaner made by your store brand is it still available? Really loved it

I don,t know about the baby powder scented but this 1-800 pet cleansing solution has a nice clean smell to it and you will be surprised in how it does such a good job. You should give it a try it is great and I use it on all my Himalayan cats

We have been using the Zymox solution (hydrocortisone free) on a every other week schedule with our dog. Would this be a better solution.
He is a German Shepherd and his ears are always bothering him.
this petmeds solution is just so much cheaper.
I used to have a Belgian shepard for almost 12 years till he died. He had problems with his ears his whole life. This product helped him. The trick is to not clean too often or too little. You have to look for what keeps him from getting an infection or shaking his head too much. I used it on him every 5 days.

The best product for a dogs ears after swimming in the ocean

What is the shelf life of the ear cleansing solution? How long before it expires? I'm wondering how many I should buy at a time.
Judging by the ingedients, it should have a
very long shelf life, especially if unopened.
I just purchased three bottles of the 16 ounce
size, for cost savings, as I have four little dogs.
