How this product should be used:

The recommended dose for cats, puppies and dogs less than 20 lbs is one tablet given in the morning and one tablet given in the evening. The recommended dose for adult dogs over 20 lbs is 2 tablets given in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening. The tablet may be crumbled and mixed with wet or dry food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by drummn from LIFE EXTENDER!!!! This product is amazing!!! I had a Shar Pei that was 15 yrs old and was diagnosed with a tumor on the liver. He was given 3 mths at best. We were told by our vet that this vitamin might help extend some time. My Shar pei (popeye) was with us for over another full year with loads of energy to play and run!!! I truely believe this vitamin helped give us some more presious time with him. He is missed dearly. I now give this to my female Shar Pei (olive oyl). She is 10 yrs old. She loves them. This is the "wonder vitamin"!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mar from Wonderful product! I have had my 8 yr old poodle mix on this product for 10 months. This product was recommended by the pet opthalmologist for my dog's retina disease. The doctor thought that my dog had about 6 months before losing her sight (there is no cure or treatment for this eye disease). They put her on these vitamins twice a day, and the disease has slowed down and she is still able to see. Even the doctors are pleased with the results. She also has more energy, now runs after the squirels and plays! I'm grateful that there is a product like this available!

Can I give this supplement to my dog who already gets a senior vitamin chew daily?

I already give my dog a vitamin chew by 21st Century for senior dogs. He also gets a standard dose of liquid omega-3 (by petmeds) daily and a senior glucosamine & chondroitin chew daily. Can I also give this supplement. My dog has early stages of kidney disease and I'd like to also provide a potassium supplement sold on petmeds but am not sure if all these supplements should be mixed.
