Tastes Great & Works Very Well
Duke (Chocolate Lab) was always biting his foot paws but with the Coat Chews his biting has subsided Duke has been on these for a bit over 2 months.

A friend recommended Brite Coat to me and told me how great it was. So I am glad that I took her advice. Brite coats is absolutely amazing. In less then a week I saw a remarkable difference in my Destiny Girl. She stopped itching and scratching herself. Her coat is nice and shiny. I truly can't believe how fast and amazing this product is....

Capsules great,"Chews" fall apart
I've been using the Brite Cote CAPSULES for years & they were easy to give & worked great.
This product is now only available as "chews" & they break apart very easily and make it a mess and difficult to give the correct amount.
I wish they were still available as capsules.

Bring back the capsules
The capsules had 52% Linoleic Acid (Omega 6). The new chews only 7.2% Omega 6. We had used the capsules for years and were happy. Will have to look for a new source as we needed the high percentage Linoleic Acid for our dog's flaky skin problem. We have not ordered or used the new product so I can not comment on its effectiveness or taste. One star because of formulation change and cost.

This product is a costly substitue fo Soft Gels
This product replaces Brite Coast soft gels. You need to administer more soft chews than soft gels dependent on weight and it costs more. Bring back the soft gels.l

Just a review to say Thanks. I left a review that the product was crumbles when we received them, after it was posted we were contacted by Pet meds and the product was replaced free of charge. Are the chews soft and chewy, or are they hard like a dog biscuit? My dog won't eat the hard stuff?

What happened to the Brite Coat capsules XS that pet meds previously sold? What happened that they only now carry the chews. Cody is allergy to many
foods and cant take the dog treats. Was there a problem with the capsules? The Brite Coat capsules were amazing!!!
I am complaining about the capsules also. My boxers also have food allergy issues and there is things in the chews that werent in the capsules. I was wondering if your chews were all broken up when you got them? My chews were in many pcs and I have to guess how much my dogs are getting per day. I am very unhappy about the change also.

Are there Omega 3 Chews for CATS??
All the reviews for cats indicate only capsule. My cats will not take the oil form of fish oil.

Can I give my 45 lb dog the Bright Coat capsule whole (wrapped in pill pockets)? I want to replace the Eicosa Caps which she happily eats that way.

capacity (in oz. or mL) of a single capsule?
The capsule is too big for my dogs to eat whole. I've even tried wrapping it in pill pockets, peanut butter, etc and I've tried pouring it over their food but they like to eat each other's food so I have to monitor to make sure a dog doesn't take a double dosage (which is time consuming and annoying!). I'm going to buy smaller gel caps to dispense individually, but I don't know the capacity of one Brite Coat XS capsule? How many ounces or milileters of the liquid supplement does one capsule hold?
I put the food for both dogs in one bowl.....cut open the capsule and then shake the food up and give half to each....it works great that way

There are no age restrictions for this product but it is advisible to check with your vet before adding any supplement to the dog's diet.

Dosages for 5 and 8 lb dogs?
I have two small dogs- 5 and 8 lbs, respectively. Should I start both dogs on 1 pill, every other day, and eventually increase both dogs to 1 pill each daily?
Hi there, You are correct, Start off with 1 softgel pill every other day(her stool maybe loose because she is getting fish oil) and build up to 1 softgel per day. :)
