Perfect Coat Flea & Tick Dog Shampoo kills fleas and ticks, cleans your pet's coat thoroughly, ends snarls and tangles, and leaves your pet smelling fresh.

How it Works:

Pyrethrins, an active ingredient in this shampoo, are natural organic compounds that have potent insecticidal activity. Other active ingredients, Piperonyl butoxide and N-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboxamide, are common synergists, used with insecticides to enhance their activity.

Cautions:

Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before use on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or medicated animals. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. Do not use on cats.

How this product should be used:

Wet pet completely. Apply liberal quantity of shampoo and work in. Pay extra attention to matted or tangled areas. Continue to work into coat for several minutes. Rinse pet thoroughly in clean water. Dry pet and gently comb out well. Repeat every 7 days.

What are the side effects:

Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

What special precautions are there:

It was hard for me to do anything with this product, after the first wash, his private area was on fire. So, becareful, NOT, for pet;s with sensitive skin,

It may not work the very first time, but if you allow the shampoo one usage to moisturize your dog's skin, the second use should do the trick!! And smells PHENOMENAL!!!! Baby smell, feels, and look great!!! Definant recommendation!!

i used tried frontline plus for my dog yet he still keeps getting fleas we live on a farm any ideas of what to do to keeep fleas off

Hi, Benji. You may be seeing a resistance problem to the Frontline Plus. We recommend switching to K9 Advantix or Advantage if you are not getting good results from Frontilne Plus.

Is it safe for a 6lb. Chihuahua?

My dog, Blossom, has short hair. How long does the protection last? Are additional measures for fleas and ticks necessary? Does it do anything to prevent or aid in mosquito bites?
