How it Works:
Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo contains oats ground into an extremely fine powder. When your pet is bathed, the oatmeal feels silky, as it coats, moisturizes, softens, and protects your pet's skin. Aloe Vera is used to soothe skin and promote healing.

How this product should be used:
Safe for use on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, 12 weeks of age or older. Using warm water, wet pet's coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo from tail to head and gently massage deep into coat and skin. Rinse thoroughly. Allow pet to stay indoors until thoroughly dry.

Five stars all the way!
I have used many shampoos and conditioners for my dog and none have even come close to these! I am so glad I found these two products. I use both the shampoo and conditioner and love them! They are gentle, but really get the job done. They also promise not to remove or alter any flea/tick treatments that have been applied! My dog has a shiny, strong and well conditioned coat. The two of us could not be happier! Thank you 1800 petmeds! :)

Buddy Loves His Bath!
We have use this product along with the Conditioner for four years now. The dog looks forward to his bath and at the end he appearance is clean and smooth. I have tried other products and this is far superior!

Creamy Itch Relief
I had used the Relief brand previously with good results, but this shampoo is so much better. It has a creamy, silky consistency that clings to my Beagles hair and body. It's just thicker than the others,so it provides better relief for my Beagle's allergies. It really reduces her scratching. I definitely will be buying again.

cleans better than more expensive
This product does seem to be working and his hair has never smelled or looked better. He (my dog) is still having problems with very dry skin. It has gotten so bad that he is scratching all the time. Other than this problem , I would highly recommend this shampoo to others. I might add that my dog is white, and his coat is so shiny.

gentle yet works
I've used this product for years. on during our walks. I made the mistake of changing flea and tick products that didn't work for her. In return I had to give her a bath all the time to compensate for the other products inability to keep her safe. It makes her hair so soft and kills any fleas. I will NEVER EVER buy any other Shampoo and Conditioner product for my little girl nor will I be changing flea and tick product again.

I have 4 little dogs and this is the best shampoo I've used in the last 15 years. It does not leave them flaky or itchy. The ones with black fur are super shiny. Smell is good. Easy to use.

Great Shampoo!
This shampoo is great! This was our first time buying it and using it and it is awesome! We used it on all three of our dogs, poodle, chihuahua, and dachshund mutt. They all turned out super soft and no reactions from it.
I definitely recommend this shampoo.

This shampoo works great on my golden-mix. He gets clean, his fur is soft, and he doesn't seem itchy after his bath like he did with other shampoos. It smells nice, too.

Gluten
My dog is very allergic to glutens. Does the oatmeal and aloe shampoo contain?
Gluten is not listed on the ingredients however shampoos that are gluten free will "specify" that they are so since your Furry Friend is allergic to Glutens it would not be recommended to use on your Furry Friend unless directed by your vet.

Do you need to use both poducts?
No, but we were thrilled to see that the Aloe in the conditioner cleared up a bad skin problem Wastes sometimes have to deal with. Stopped all the scratching, and makes their coats look wonderful. Can't hurt to try at least one time.

i have a toy poodle, do they have special shampoo for their hair.
If it works well on Westie's and Scotties, it will work well on your poodle.

what is the best shampoo
I have a female and male Golden Retrievers, she is scratching constantly-I had her to the vets a few times for this matter and a shot of cordisone helped for about 2 weeks. I was going to order Omega 3 and I guess a good shampoo--any sugesstions? She is currently on Nature's recipe Venison dry dog food.
I give my dog a bath once a week , he is a cavelier king charles a medium size dog . He rarely scratches . This shampoo seems to work verry well and goes a long way.

Skin infections and oatmeal & aloe vera shampoo
Ok, I have a golden retriever/no idea mix and he has TERRIBLE flea allergies. Good example, his fur is falling out he's chewing so bad and he's red and inflamed on his hind end. Now, as much as I hate to admit it because I shouldn't let it get this bad, I work at an animal hospital and know my dog has a skin infection from chewing. Unfortunately I can't afford the medications that my boss usually prescribes for skin infections and he doesn't know much about this shampoo... So I was wondering if anyone else had used this as an alternative for skin infections???
I have used this for itch and dry skin. No help at all. But I have used reveloution flea med it was only thin I found to kill fleas and eggs and stop itch from fleas. It works.

Is this shampoo good for my 2 year old lab for helping to treat demodectic mange?
My dog is already on noromectin and keflex 250 mg.
I have used this Shampoo w/ Conditioner for about a month. I have seen no help with the dry itchy skin.
