In addition, FortiFlora helps pets that have diarrhea due to stressful situations and food intolerances. And FortiFlora is palatable, so you won't have to worry if your dog or cat will eat it or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Originally started using this product for my dog who had a horrible case of colitis. The emergency vet recommended. It works great. My dog has digestive issues but when he is on this product, I do not have to worry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rescued from IBD Mouse may be feline, but the vet placed her on Forti-Flora canine formula (don't know why), as a counter-measure against irritable bowel disease. She was bony and fatigued, at 15 years old, I was preparing myself for the final duty of a responsible (but grieving) pet owner. . . and then Forti-Flora has helped to stop all the digestive problems, she's gained weight - slowly, but surely. And now, she is demanding her food, same as before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 16 year old cat, Timothy, has chronic kidney disease and had lost 4 pounds. No appetite, drinking ALOT of water and lethargic. Among other things my vet recommended was FortiFlora. He absolutely LOVES it, and I have started my other five cats on it. Timothy has now gained his weight back and has started acting like he used to, much more alert, interested in looking out the windows again,, etc. I definitely recommend this product to any and all pets who are older and/or ill from health problems. It helps bring their appetite back which, in turn, helps with losing weight. I buy mine from 1-800-PetMeds (They mail out immediately and are cheaper than at the vets). On my last order I saved $60.00. (It also helps to have a good vet who genuinely cares about the health of your pet).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for diarrhea from pancreatitis my cat had diabetes & then developed pancreatitis. vet recommended liquid Imodium for her chronic diarrhea. she was not fond of the taste. she loved this stuff. gobbled it up, so also helped when her appetite was low. why the vet had not heard of this I do not know. & he was an internal specialist. anyway, the product was great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the trick If my kitties ever have an upset tummy, I just sprinkle this on their food. They love the taste, and it definitely seems to help. I have tried other brands, but they do not like the taste as much. It's hard to get a kitty that isn't feeling that well to eat, so the taste is very important.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a blessing My cat has been on antibiotic for 2 months now for a nasal infection. He gets 1/4 pill every 3rd day and then gets loose bowels from that. My vet gave me free samples of this product and it helped immediately. So, I ordered a box of this and mix it with sodium free bullion and mix it with his wet food. Works every time. Thank goodness for this product.

My cat's vet advised me to mix the FortiFlora with my cat''s canned food.

I am not always home at her lunchtime so I put her food in an automatic feeder. Can FortiFlora safely stay out mixed in her cat food, and if so for how long? She is diabetic and has been diagnosed with lymphoma. She is on Miralax with her breakfast and dinner.
Asked by: Coco
Hi Since your Furry friend is diabetic and also diagnosed with lymphoma you would need to ask your vet about using this differently. He would be able to give you the correct medical answer since he know your Furry Friend the best.
