This shampoo worked wonders on my two Alaskan Malamutes and Doberman. One of my malamutes was starting to loose hair around his tail bone due to biting at fleas. I washed him with this shampoo, sprayed him down with some Frontline and he was good to go for the whole summer. I could actually see the fleas dying when I combed the shampoo through the doberman. I gave the product 3 stars for ease of use, mainly because the consistency is like water. I didn't know that prior to usage, so I ended up using half of the bottle on the first dog. After you wash them your dog(s) will have a nice pine cone cinnamon smell to them. I plan to purchase this product again and add it as a shampoo for my miniature schnauzer.

i love this stuff natural chemistys is a great alternative to the chemical infused stuff. I always use natural chemistry on my dogs and cats and in the winter i dont wash my cats just spray but even if i miss a couple times you still smell it so strong on them. One time i found a litter of kittens outside i took home and they were infested with fleas so i washed them a couple times and they were completely flea free never seen a flea shampoo that actually killed EVERY flea lols usually it just reduces them..... thank you natural chemistry. i just wish they would make big refil bottles of the dog and cat shampoo and spray

will it hit small dog
WILL IT WORK ON SMALL DOGS
Used it on my white miniature schnauzer when I got him from the breeder at 10 weeks.Every animal reacts differently, but I did not run into any problems.

What exactly does this mean and why only lightly colored pets?
I actually missed that whole tip on the label and washed my white miniature schnauzer puppy with it. His coat did not change color and I have not washed him with any whiting shampoos.

Can it be used with Activyl
What I want to know if you wash your dog with this . Is it going to kill the once a month treatment of the Activyl?

How effective is this with ticks?
I never have problems with fleas on my dog, but she is always coming home with 4 or more ticks, and it seems the on the spot treatments are not working.
