Heartguard vs. Iverhart

Iverhart Plus is the generic equivalent to Heartguard Plus, and offers the same great protection at a lower price. Like Heartguard Plus, Iverhart Plus is a heartworm preventative and treats and controls roundworms and hookworms.  The active ingredient in Heartguard Plus and Iverhart Plus are the same: ivermectin and pyrantel.  The difference between the two pet medications is the form: whereas Heartguard is a soft beef-flavored chewable tablet, Iverhart is a crunchy pork-flavored chewable tablet.

Iverhart Max: Even More Protection than Heartguard

If you are looking for even more protection for your dog, consider Iverhart Max. Iverhart Max provides the same effective protection against heartworm, roundworms and hookworms as Heartguard Plus and Iverhart Plus, but also treats and controls tapeworms with the added ingredient of praziquantel.
