Can I Bathe My Pet After Applying Revolution?

Revolution is quick-drying, and is waterproof after two hours. After two hours, bathing, swimming or shampooing your pet will not reduce the efficacy of Revolution.

Is Revolution Safe?

Revolution has been proven safe and effective. It is so gentle, you can use Revolution on cats and kittens 8 weeks of age or older, and dogs or puppies 6 weeks of age or older. According to the manufacturer, Revolution is safe to use on pregnant or lactating dogs or cats.

How Does Revolution Treat Ear Mites?

To treat ear mites in dogs and cats, cleaning the pet’s ears first is recommended before application of Revolution. Apply a single dose of Revolution to the skin at the base of the neck. Some dogs may require a second monthly dose of Revolution. Thereafter, regular monthly use of Revolution will control subsequent ear mite infestations.

Which Size Revolution Is Right For My Pet?

Revolution is available in 6 different dosage strengths for dogs and 3 different dosage strengths for cats. To ensure proper dosing, select the correct size of Revolution based upon the body weight of your dog or cat. If your dog weighs over 130 pounds, you will need to use a combination of two different doses to achieve the correct dose of Revolution.

Can I Use Revolution for Dogs on My Cat?

You should only use Revolution for Cats on cats. If you have a large cat, Revolution for Cats comes in a size for cats 15 – 22 pounds. To ensure proper dosing, you should also never split doses of Revolution between pets.
