Pet Armor: An Effective Cost-Saving Alternative

Pet Armor for dogs and cats

Why Choose Pet Armor?

With the introduction of Pet Armor, pet-parents have more choices in flea and tick control. You may already be familiar with the popular flea-control product, Frontline. With Pet Armor, budget-conscious pet parents can now get the same effective flea and tick control for their dog or cat, but at a lower price. The active ingredient in Pet Armor is Fipronil, the exact same ingredient and in the same concentration as Frontline.

Pet Armor comes conveniently packaged in 3, 6, or 12 packs.  Keep in mind that you save even more per dose by choosing the 6 or 12 pack of Pet Armor.

Pet Armor: Controls Fleas, Ticks and More

Pet Armor is available at PetMeds®

Pet Armor kills adult fleas and four different types of ticks.  Additionally, Pet Armor kills chewing lice, and also controls the mites which may cause sarcoptic mange.   Each dose of Pet Armor provides full-body protection for your cat or dog for 30 days.  The active ingredient, Fipronil, works by disrupting the central nervous system of fleas and ticks.  Pet Armor kills fleas within 12 hours and ticks within 48 hours of application.

How Do I Use Pet Armor?

Pet Armor comes in different doses, based upon the weight of your dog, as well as one size which is used for cats.  Simply select the proper dose of Pet Armor for your pet, and apply Pet Armor once per month.

Pet Armor comes in an easy-to-use applicator pipette.

Pet Armor is a topical product which comes in a squeeze-on applicator pipette, making it easy to apply to the skin between the shoulder blades of your dog or cat.  Be sure to squeeze the entire contents of the applicator of Pet Armor onto a single spot between the shoulder blades to ensure your pet receives the proper dose.

What Else Should I Know About Pet Armor?

Pet Armor is waterproof, so there is no need to re-apply should your pet be exposed to water. You should wait 24 hours after application to allow Pet Armor to fully dry before bathing your pet or allowing your pet to swim.  Pet Armor is safe to use on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at least 8 weeks of age or older. Do not apply Pet Armor to your pet more than once every 4 weeks.

Does Pet Armor Have Any Side Effects?

Side effects are rare, but as with any topical flea and tick control product, your pet may experience slight irritation where Pet Armor was applied.  This is usually very temporary, but if the irritation becomes worse, we recommend you consult with your veterinarian immediately.
