K9 Advantix II for Your Dog

As a concerned pet parent, it can be confusing to select amongst all of the available pet supplies and choose the best product to control fleas and ticks on your dog. Is K9 Advantix II the right choice for your dog? If you are looking for the most comprehensive control of external parasites for your dog, K9 Advantix II may be for you.
K9 Advantix II: Kills and Repels
While there are other products that kill fleas and ticks, K9 Advantix II kills and also repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. K9 Advantix II treats all stages of the flea life-cycle: adult fleas, flea eggs, pupae and flea larvae, effectively stopping the flea life-cycle. K9 Advantix II is effective against Deer ticks, American dog ticks, Brown dog ticks and Lone Star ticks. Because K9 Advantix II repels ticks before they bite your dog, it can help reduce the risk of your dog contracting a tick-borne disease such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. In addition to killing and repelling fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, K9 Advantix II also kills chewing lice and repels biting flies such as sand flies and stable flies.
How Do I Use K9 Advantix II?
K9 Advantix II is a topical solution that you apply to your dog once per month. K9 Advantix II comes in four different doses based upon the weight of your dog. Select the correct dose of K9 Advantix II, open the applicator tube, part your dog’s fur, and apply the contents of the tube to several spots on your dog’s skin on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. If your dog weighs up to 20 pounds, apply the K9 Advantix II to 2-3 spots and if your dog weighs over 20 pounds apply the K9 Advantix II to 4-6 spots.
What Else Should I Know About K9 Advantix II?
Most importantly, K9 Advantix II is only for use on dogs. Cats cannot metabolize certain ingredients in K9 Advantix II; therefore, make sure cats do not come into contact with a dog treated with K9 Advantix II for 24 hours.
K9 Advantix II is waterproof, so there is no need to reapply after your dog swims or takes a bath. K9 Advantix II can be used on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older.
