I purchased this product on 2/4/11. I was very please with the results as Bo's ears have cleared up. and he finally stopped scratching.. I used a product from the vet and his ear problems would clear up, but within a week or two it was back. Thank you.

Great Product
I used the Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution Hydrocortisone Free on Brandi's ear infection and now she is fine.

Quick acting relief
I have three Bengal cats. They have periodic yeast infections in their ears and I Q-tip clean often but this last bout was pretty severe. All three cats had a lot of "junk" in their ears, flipping heads and scratching.
I ordered the Zymox Cortisone Free and applied as directed for a week. Within the first three days the itching subsided, and the scratching stopped. Now 2 weeks later, ears are clean, cats are happy, and I will use it once per week to control any new yeast growth. This is a fast acting, very effective product to stop yeast in the ears. It's the best ear solution I've ever used. Very happy with this product. Thanks!

Wonderful Product
My dog Josie has had reoccurring yeast ear infections her entire life, and she is 10 now. I fought it based on allergies (changing her food), with lots of prescription medications, holistic treatments, cleaning her ears multiple times a week...... Nothing worked long term. After all this time, I think the reason she gets the infections is because she has small ear canals, lots of intricate folds, nicks, and crannies, and I never ever really got rid of the yeast, so it would come back. A couple of weeks ago, I bought the Zymox with Hydrocortisone and without. I used the HC 1% as directed for a week, and her infection went away, while the itching was relieved. After that I switched to the once per week application of the Enzymatic Solution. Her ears are FINALLY healthy, and I believe they will stay that way. We are both relieved! Thanks for a great solution!

Works good
My Pug Arthur has suffered with ear infections his whole life. The Vet took care of it for us but that is very costly and the infection came back again and again. I started looking for something else and read the reviews for Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution Hydrocortisone Free. It sounded like what I was looking for so I bought it. We have been using it for 6 days now and although it works slower than the vets med's it is working. Arthur has all but stopped scratching and the ear is looking alot healthier every day. I wished the applicator tip was a bit longer to get it deep inside the ear. Having to rub it down into a aching ear is painful. I will buy this product again and I recomend it to other pet Moms.

Seems like our golden retriever has had too many ear infections these last 3 years. We understand it is from allergies. He scratches less now that we found a food that is working finally. But he just came down with another ear infection so I had some extra Otibiotic from the vet last time.
Our vet suggested we give him one adult size 50 mg Benadryl non drowsy to help him with his scratching but I don't want to do this. I am confussed, do I order the ZymoxOtic Enzymatic Solution Hydrocortison Free product or the Zymox Otic topical ear maintenance? Which one clears up an ear infection and which one is weekly maintenance? How long do I wait to use the correct Zymox after I stop the Otibiotic? Answers

Both Zymox Enzymatic Solution with hydrocortisone and the hydrocortisone free Zymox will clear your furry baby's ear infection. The only difference in the two is that one includes hydrocortisone which helps with the itching and the other one is hydrocortisone free. Both forms comes in two sizes, 1.25 oz and 4.0 oz. For acute infections, treat once a day for 7 days. For chronic infections, treat once a day for 14 days.
