Relief, at last!!
My Gertie girl was 8 years old when I got her from a local shelter 2 years ago. Her itching had gotten worse and worse the first year and my vet blamed allergies. I've been trying one thing after another this year to give her relief, including virtually eliminating grains from her diet, giving her fish oil, brewers yeast, various herbal supplements, using special shampoos, and resorting to Hydrocortisone cream when she would develop sores. The itching and scratching persisted and she was at it day and night. Finally tried Yucca Intensive and within 2 days she was 80% free of the problem. It's been over a week now and I consider the problem solved!

Yucca Intensive
My Frenchie has terrible skin allergies and is constantly itchy. Because of a heart murmur I can't give him steroids, so the reviews I read about Yucca Intensive looked really promising. He doesn't seem to mind the taste at all, but unfortunately it has not stopped his itching and scratching. I've been giving it to him twice a day for about 3 weeks and will continue to give it to him to see if there are any positive changes.

It really works. I was able to cut down to half of a Rimadyl tablet a day by adding the Yucca intensive.

did not work for us
I am sorry to say this product did not help my Latte'. The product was easy to give to her. She did mind the taste at all. I dropped the med on her cookies and she ate them with no problem.
She still chews on herself until sores appear. It makes me really sad that this product did not work on her. So now I am trying Listerine ( mouth wash) and Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride on her.

Not Tastey
I cannot write a review on how the product works because my dog wouldn't even eat his food with it mixed in. He didn't like the smell, therefore wouldn't eat it. Goldens are usually finikey eaters anyway but if your dog will eat anything...its worth a try.

GREAT STUFF
My dog has been itching constantly for about a 1 1/2 years..I couldnt figure out what was wrong since he doesn't have fleas or any illness. The vet wanted to run test to figure out the problem which would have been exspensive. It was so sad and annoying at the same time to see him not being able to enjoying a restful evening w/o sctracthing himself constantly.... I read the prior reviews, bought this product and gave him some.. This product began to take effect the very first day!!!!! The constant itching almost came to an end fter he ate his food.. after the 3rd day He is no longer itching other than the normal that dogs do which i expect. I am so happy I found this product b/c I was about to lose my mind with that constant scratching sound. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUFF..not sure about the taste but it worked for him

Yucca for arthritis
I was sorry to learn after I had already purchased the tincture that it has never been proven to aide in inflammation or arthritis pain. I come from a scientific background, but have always been open to natural remedies.
The review that disproves Yucca as an antiinflammatory was found on the Mayo clinic website.

Hopeful then let down
When I read all the great reviews I thought we had found the product that could help my Kasani with this itching. Not one to order something without careful consideration I read, asked, and researched before I placed the order. When it arrived I started giving it to her I saw no improvement at all i used the entire bottle in less than a week this is because my puppy is a 122 lbs Rottie and with the correct dosage you run through it pretty fast. Since I didn't see any signs of the itching stopping I will not order any more. I am not happy with the results at all.

Didn't work
I have a ten year old dog with chronic allergies. We have tried everything from prescription to Benadryl and nothing worked. I was hoping this would be a relief for him, but he is still itching and still miserable. I will have to look for something else that will ease his itchiness and let him be the happy dog I know he wants to be. I will be sending this one back.

for Sugar & Spice
I've been using this for a few months now on my 2 poodle breeds.. I put in food along with the bone enhancement in the mornings. However I don't know how much value they receive as they hate it and sometimes won't eat. Impossible to give twice a day. Since other reviews show great results, I will make a better effort to get this down them twice a day....cause I ain't givin' up.. Thanks Pet Meds

Could it be True........
Dante, has severe skin allergies. He suffers all summer long, as he gets older starts sooner and ends later. He has no energy, hard to get up. He would wait at bottom of stairs to make sure we are not coming back down, so he won't have to climb them, more than once a night. I had yucca intense on hand, i was giving to one of my other dogs for pain relief, he needed something stronger from vet.
I gave this to Dante on Sunday in am, with his fish oil, and antioxidant and multivitamin. I also gave him some benadryl that day as he was feeling so bad, we considered taking him to the vet. I gave him a second dose that night, double dose for acute issues. By monday he was a new dog. It is now wed, and he continues to get his 2x a day in double doses, with his supplements, it's quite amazing. Hopefully this is the answer for skin issues.

Didn't work for my Westie
My 2 y/o gets very itchy. This didn't help with his itchiness & amped him up a bit, which a 2 y/o terrier doesn't really need. I used it for about a week & didn't notice any difference except for the extra energy. I'm disappointed.

Yucca root/arthritis
This stuff is really good for arthritis. I wish that I could get some for myself. I had never thought to look for it in the extract form but why is this only for animals?
I am using MSM torpedo tabs for my dogs right now. I only use it once in a while so that they don't develope something undesireable like arthritis.

Beagle/Corgi Mix
I recently adopted my dog from the humane society after fostering him for a month. I never noticed any symptoms of allergies but over time he has really been showing signs. I purchased this product, Yucca Intensive in hopes of helping his skin be less itchy and thus far it's working great! I also purchased Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil and it also is helping. My dog actually loves the taste of Yucca Intensive even though it says to dilute and most other reviews say that the taste is awful.

Yucca Intensive
I have a 4 y/o chocolate long-haired mini dachshund who was diagnosed with allergies about 3 years ago. She was scratching and biting her front nails. My vet immediately put her on prednesone and I HATED it ~ it gave her a very rapid heartbeat and shallow breathing. Next I tried Omega 3, which helped for quite a while but then seemed to lose affect. I've had her on the yucca for a couple of weeks and don't really notice a difference yet... But yesterday I also started her on an organic anti-itch spray and a hypo-allergenic shampoo... Much better today ~ so, the jury is still out on the yucca. :((

Seems to be Helping
My chihuahua had been on expensive meds for a little over a year and was still having problems with what looked like Red Mange. The first test came out positive and after a while she got better, but then got worse again. The vet retested her and nothing was found. Nothing the vet put her on seemed to work. My brother told me about Yucca Intensive and told me to not give her any store purchased doggie treats. Well, it is working. She isn't itching as much and the dark/black spotting is slowing going away.

Really works!!!
We got our fifteen year old jack russell when she was ten. She was eight pounds overweight, grumpy, in pain, and on rimadyl(sp). She had blown out a knee in the past, and had her pelvis crushed by a horse. We took the extra weight off, and put her on your super joint pills and oil pills. She went off the pain killer and was like a puppy again!!! Fast forward five years. We noticed some difficulty in her movement - especially on anything other than soft ground . We put her on the yucca and the first day she started doing her downward and upward doggy stretches!! I hadn't even noticed that she had quit doing that! Her whole body was more supple looking when she moved, and after a few weeks, she was walking with more comfort on pavement, and actually jumped out of our car and went flying across a meadow to chase my husband on horseback. And I had misread the dosing so this was on only half the proper dosage. I am thrilled with how much it has helped her. Unfortunately(God, what an understatement) she had kidney failure and we had to put her down about a month after starting this. NO, it wasn't the yucca!! I'm so glad her last month was so much more comfortable, and she could run and play with the horses with greater comfort and ease.

No More Itching
Every spring, my dog started itching & nothing but prescription steroids seemed to help. I tried a number of things to keep her comfortable, saving the steroids for the worst part of the summer. When she started itching again this year, I tried the Yucca Intensive, and, amazingly, it has worked wonders. The itching stopped completely, just as it does when I give her the prescription steroids. Truthfully, I doubted this would work any better than the truckload of other products I've tried, but it really does.

Works so far
My dog starting getting a rash and never had one before . Some one told me to try these drops and I am about a week in and so far so good! Its not totally gone yet but it is going in the right direction ! :)

Yucca Intensive for joints
This product is amazing. My 7yr old Black Lab mix used to moan during the night as if she couldn'e get comfortable. Preferring Holistic meds, I tried this product and witiin a week, she was sleeping peacefully and she runs around like a puppy, very playful and happy. Try this product, it works wonders!

Awesome for Allergies
We were at our wits end. Our two maie pit bulls were constantly covered in a red rash and getting severe ear infections. One dog actually started breaking out in pustules and our vet was just in awe and she alone didn't understand the severity of his allergies. We tried steroids, change of diet, Benadryl etc etc etc. Our dogs were miserable and we were getting more and more into debt. Finally, I researched holistic treatment and came across yucca. We have been using it for years. It not only helps control our dogs allergies but my dogs pustules went away and they don't get ear infections anymore. I so recommend this product,!!!

Very happy dog
We have a 14 yr old springer/chow mix. I cannot believe the difference these drops make for her.
She can keep up with the younger dog if she has these. When I have forgotten to refill you can sure see the difference after alittle time. You can see it in her happy face when she doesn't hurt so much.
I wish humans could take this.

Allergies
I have been giving Yucca to my dog for almost 2 weeks now. I have not seen any improvement in him at all. He his scratching and chewing constantly. If anyone knows anything else that might help I would love to know about it.

Yucca
My dog Kaya has been on Yucca for about 2 weeks now and I think she has showed some improvement on her getting up & down and on the steps too. She could loose a little weight would help. She is about 9 years old and I rate the stuff right now 3 stars because I still think that I need to see a little more improvements. I let you know more in about a week when she has been on it longer.

Good enough for Seniors
My mother turned me on to this magic potion for my aged dog. It made him act like he was 5 years younger so my mother started taking a few drops each morning in her vitamin milkshake. My dog loves the taste but my mother says it is a bit bitter. I told her to add a little suger.

Yucca Intensive
We tried Yucca intensive for our 9 y/o golden retriever once before and I honestly was not sure if it helped and how much. We ran out and did without for a while, and watched him turn into an old dog. He was having trouble moving, and didn't want to play with our 4 y/o dog any more. I couldn't wait to get the next bottle of Yucca in the mail. After a few days of being on the Yucca again, our goldie got his spunk back. I highly recommend it.

I'm sad it isn't working for us
I am so sad that after 2 bottles at not quite double dosages at times, it doesn't seem to be working for my 11 year old golden retriever, Casady. She already has enough trouble with a broken pelvis received as a puppy. When she started limping on one front leg about 6 months ago, I thought she had just pulled a muscle. But after three days with no improvement, I took her to the vet. X-rays showed "nothing serious". With others reporting such good results, I had to try this; but alas, she still has a hard time getting up and limps a lot - but she still gives the squirrels a run for their money.

It Really Works!!
Last year we almost had to put our 8 year old pitbull down. He has hip displysia and artithitis in his hips. Last winter, he was running and slipped on the ice and injured his hips. After that fall, he was not able to get up and down stairs and could barely use his backlegs. I started looking for alternatives as after several months nothing the vets gave us was working. I tried Yucca and although it took time for us to see the results, the results we have seen are nothing sort of a miracle. Within 2 - 3 months he was running again, going up and down the stairs with ease. This stuff saved our dog Gusto. This product really works.

can't win em all
I have been using this on my little dog now for 3 weeks, unfortunately I have not seen a change in my dog at all with this product, I do believe that there are dogs that it may work for, pet meds joint enhancers work wonders on my dog but nothing from this, I did contact pet meds and they are gonna issue me a credit for the item and even provide me with a free shipping label for the return, I think the people at 1800 pet meds are great and they do stand by their satisfaction guaruntee and i have always been a satisfied customer with them and most all the products I purchased have worked great but this one had no effect so they satisfied me with a credit to get items that i know worked.

Awesome
My Bichon is 17 and has joint problems and skin allergies. I started Yucca and with in 2 weeks his fur is the softest it's been in awahile and his "old doggy warts" are almost all gone. As for his joints, he acts like a 2 year old at times and he's more energetic. He also had a eye ulcer that we have been medicating for awhile and it is now healing. I told my vet and she was amazed with the results and will recommend this product based on Bailey. I have to say this is the best product I have purchased for him and I bought alot of things to help him. I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has a irritable bowel and any change in diet affects him and he gets bad diarrhea. I would like to use the yucca Intensive for his weakness in his back end. he has had several vestibular attacks in the past year and half so he is weak. We do acupuncture on him as well which does help. but are always searching for something better.He also takes a chinese herb for hindquarters weakness.
