Grooming Made Easy
We have a six year old Golden Retriever named Bear. The summers (and some winters) are so hot and humid here in the south that Bear spends a lot of time indoors. The YOWZA has been a lifesaver in keeping Bear's constant shedding in check. It is so easy that the kids fight over whose turn it is to "brush" the dog! Bear loves it too as he doesn't scratch nearly as much as before the YOWZA . It works so well that I just ordered another one for our weekend home on our local lake.

Not so good for my dog
I have a Cavalier King Charles that has a very dense and long haired coat. While this product is a good concept, it does not do well on Maggie. The "teeth" on the grooming tool does not penetrate her coat deep enough therefore no hair was going into the vacuum cleaner. I am not giving this product a bad review, it just didn't work for my dog.

Dogs Love It!
I just used the Yowza for the first time this morning. Knowing my dogs usually have no fear of the vacuum, I was hoping they would also love being groomed with this tool. I was very pleased! I have 2 golden retrievers, and both acted like they didn't want me to stop. It makes me feel better about being able to keep my house cleaner, as well as the dogs.

yowza-best invention since sliced bread
My dogs hate the vacuum and bite it when I turn it on and then run for cover.My husband took my Australian cattle healers out in the garage and used the hair brush ( without the vacuum )to aquaint them. Then he hooked it up to our shop vac which is a lot less noisy than the house vacuum and the dogs didn't even flinch. They laid down and one of them rolled over. They actually enjoyed the vacuum brush combo and it removes loose dirt and dander as well. The amount of hair revealed inside the vacuum let's us know we are preventing a good deal of the loose hair from making it into the house. A very logical simple idea that is great. 5 Stars

What a concept
My two golden retrieves shed so much I literally had to vacuum my house everyday. With this pet grooming attachment I can now go a few days without vacuuming. I was a little skeptical because my dogs do not like the sound of a vacuum.
But they love being brushed, so they over came one fear for a few minutes of brushing and love. They both have very long hair and the grooming attachment was easy to use and fit on my vacuum perfectly. They just lay there with the sound of the vacuum not even bothering them while I brushed and vacuumed up the loose hair. For dogs that shed this is super I love it.

All three have long hair and I want to know if it help with knots and removing the under coat before the knots show up. I brush them everyday and knots show up due to dogs lying or rolling around.AnswersA: Thank you for your question. As for a long hair pet this product will not work. This product is meant to be used for short to medium haired dogs. We would hate to see the hair be pulled on a long haired pet.
