Still Looking For Flea Solution
I do animal rescue and one of our rescues was infested with fleas. As a result, our home now has a flea problem. I have used the flea shampoo, Capstar, frontline, advantage II and the flea bombs and we still have fleas! I am at my wits end trying to find a solution that works. If anyone knows another idea, please share!

Only product to work so far!
Our 1 1/2 year old dog has had a major flea problem for the last 3-4 months, We have constantly bathed her with flea shampoos, gave her frontline, heartworm, vacuumed constantly, sprayed the house with all different types of sprays.
We live in a fairly big one bedroom apartment with a large bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and very large living room, I only bought a can for the bed room and living room, set them off without moving any furniture, only tidying up, and we were going away anyway for the night, came back, and since then NO FLEAS!!! I cant tell you what a struggle this has been and what a relief, but finally she is in good health, and I have not even seen a dead flea or egg in 3 weeks! Great stuff, would recommend to anyone!

Not Satisfied!
I purchased 5 of these bombs and set them off in my house basically at the same time and got out of my house. I came back, cleaned the house up and learned the next day that there were still fleas in my house!!! I had to go out and buy 7 bottles of the carpet powder and 3 bottles of the spray in order to take care of the flea problem! Would not recommend!!!

You can first start by using a flea bomb for your home and vacuum your entire home including cracks and corners. You should also shower with soapy water two times a day. Comb your hair regularly with a special flea comb specially designed to remove fleas. Applying ice to the infected area will help relieve some of the itching to the flea bites. Other treatments include the use of menthol, calamine lotion or camphor to the bites. Insect repellents that contain DEET will also help to keep you from getting flea bites. If that doesn’t work it may be wise to see an allergist for treatments.
The little black specks are likely "flea dirt" which usually look like flecks of pepper. It is actually flea feces, made up of the blood meal ingested by the flea from your cat.
