Sierra is a 100 pound dog. She gets one first thing after coming down the stairs daily. She is nine and acts like a pup.

great to perk up older dog
I have given my 11 year old terrier mix these vits for about a year and he acts like a 1 yr old. Runs, jumps. catches the ball and has fun. His coat is beartiful.
He will not take them as a treat, but I crush them in his food and he eats it all. His vet check ups are good. Can't say for sure it is the vit, but he is healthy, bright, active and he was slowling down before I started this.

These vitamins work fine!!
I have two cocker spaniels. One is five the other is eleven. I crush them and put them in their food. They don't seem to mind them at all. Go to dogfoodanalysis.com and look at how bad the dog food is today. Just search for the kind you feed. Pretty sad. I make my own dog food.

Treat!
I have three dogs in the 50# range. All three behave as if they are getting a treat when I hand them out after their morning and evening meals. The vet always comments on how healthy and good looking my dogs are - including the 11 year old Labrador. Since starting the vitamin and cosequin for her joints, she's acting full of energy and without any pain.

Super VitaChews vs Regular VitaChews
I have been purchasing the Regular bone-shaped VitaChews in the past, and my dog loved them; so I was hesitant about switching to the Super VitaChews based on some other reviews that their dog got sick or spit them out. But, not to worry. My dog also loves them just as well, and I know that Lone Star is getting even more vitamins with this new product.

My doggy has a finicky taste. Even bones get a once over before being accepted. Beef-flavored, chicken-flavored, liver-flavored, doesn't matter. If it doesn't pass muster, it won't be taken, except maybe in some cream.
Since I'm overseas, I won't be able to return for a refund, which is why I'm asking if they're appropriate for cats ..
Or should I just buy Cat Vits & try to feed them to Tangerine too?
I have a 1 year old Siberian Husky who is getting the beginning signs of a zinc deficiency. Our vet recommended a Zinc supplement but was not specific enough about the best supplements (in the process of changing our vet trust me). All I read in the reviews were complaints about their dogs not eating them because of the taste, not helpful! I just want to know if these particular pills will provide enough zinc to help my baby girl before this gets worse. Please let me know!
