These steps are the same as the Dog Steps with 2 Steps except these steps include a fleece covering. The Soft Dog Steps can be used as a preventive measure against arthritis by reducing jumping. The Soft Dog Steps are especially helpful for pets that already experience joint pain or weakness caused by arthritis. will do the job, but.....
as reported by others, the steps take up quite a bit of space and as a result they weren't very practical for use in our bedroom. the steps are easy to put together and appear to be quite durable. with a little training, the dogs figured out how to use them. the cloth coverings of the steps (we got the animal print) are kind of funky/cheap, particularly when compared to the steps themselves. imo, the covering doesn't improve the appearance or functionality of the steps.

Stairs Serve Their Purpose
The stairs seem to be working fine. It was a little cumbersome getting the pieces to fit together, but not too bad. The only downside to me is that they take up a fair amount of room in the living room and bedroom, where I have them placed.

My dog, an 80 lb Golden Retriever, didn't like these steps, the cover seemed to slide around a bit making them seem un-sturdy. But as a whole, I love you guys!

My Caveliers love the stairs!!
Both my Caveliers and I love the stairs. I have two senior dogs that cannot jump on and off the bed. I was having to get up several times a night to lift them off and back on. The stairs have been a life saver!
My dogs are happy and I'm now getting a full nights rest. I should have bought these stairs months ago.
And super easy to assemble!!

Great investment
I just received the doggie steps for my 11 month old minature dachshund Harley. He absolutely loves them! He was definitely scared at first to use them but it didn't take long for him to get acclimated. Great investment for a spoiled dog like mine.
