What is a Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl?

The Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl is designed to keep your pet from eating his or her food too quickly. It is made out of durable, heavy-duty plastic and a non-skid bottom, so your pet doesn't have to chase his or her food around the room. It comes in Medium, Large and Jumbo sizes.

How it works:
The Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl has dividers built into the bowl to stop your pet from gulping down food too quickly and potentially getting sick. These dividers make your pet work around the bowl, which slows down their eating process. The rubber bottom keeps the bowl in place, which reduces spilling.

Directions:

•	Just place the Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl on the floor and fill it with your pet's recommended food amount.
•	The bottom rim is covered in a thermoplastic rubber so you can place it on tile, linoleum, and wood floors and not worry about it skidding around.
•	Avoid overfeeding by reading the pet food label for recommended feeding dosages.

Tip: The Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl is only dishwasher safe when it is placed on the top rack.

Does exactly what is says! LOVE this bowl! Best five bucks I ever spent. My puppy was inhaling an entire bowl of food at a time, sometimes so fast that he would throw it up. Now he eats slow, not near as much, doesn't get sick, and saves me money. I highly recommend this to owners of fast eaters. 02/25/2013

"Great for fast eaters!" My nephew Bungie (miniature poodle) would eat like a maniac when my brother/sister-in-law first brought him home; he has some issues. I saw this bowl and thought it would be a good idea for him. He is still a fast eater, but this bowl makes him slow down several times during his dinner. I love this bowl My dog Crosby is a large Golden Retriever, with a huge appetite. He would eat so fast with food dropping from his mouth all over the floor. This bowl is great, the divided areas in the bowl make Crosby slow down when he eats, which is much better for him, and I don't have a big mess to clean up after he is finished. The non skid bottom also keeps his food right where he wants it. It is a great bowl. 07/19/2012

Since it is a larger dog, we would suggest looking at either the large or jumbo size bowl for your Lab. The large bowl holds up to 5.63 cups, and the jumbo bowl holds up to 10.75 cups.
