1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Dogs used to help reduce unwanted
shedding produces a radiant coat and promotes healthy skin in dogs.
1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Cats helps to reduce unwanted
shedding and control hairballs for cats.
Availability: 1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Dogs is a
non-prescription (OTC) product available as beef liver flavored chewable tablets. 1-800-PetMeds
Shed Terminator for Cats is a non-prescription (OTC) product available as Tuna Flavored
Sprinkle Capsules.
How this product should be used:
1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Dogs can be given directly to the dog
or the tablet can be crumbled and mixed into food. The usual dose for dogs up to 25 lbs is 1
tablet in the morning and the evening, for dogs 25-60 lbs give 2 tablets in the morning and the
evening and for dogs over 60 lbs give 3 tablets in the morning and the evening.
1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Cats is given as 2 capsules per day
for 4-6 weeks, then 1 capsule daily to maintain effectiveness. The contents of the capsule can
be sprinkled onto food. If the cat eats dry food, a small amount of water mixed with the food
will allow the powder to stick to the food.
What are the side effects: Side effects that can occur with
1-800-PetMeds Shed Terminator for Dogs can include gastro-intestinal upset.
What special precautions are there: This product is for animal
use in dogs only. To prevent gastro-intestinal upset, gradually introduce 1-800-PetMeds Shed
Terminator for Dogs to your dog¿s diet over a 15 day period.
