UGH!
At the time I purchased this, I had two dogs. They both had certain spots that they would always mark. I sprayed both spots and the dog that went in one spot stopped going there... but started going in the other spot, and the other dog did the same.... So yes.. they stopped going in one place, but started going in a different spot.. I can't spray the whole house...

Didn't work
I tried treating my couch several times with this, but it didn't deter my cat at all.

No-Go overall
I thought this was effective for a couple of days at a time for stopping my neutered male cat from spraying in his favorite spots but his fav spots entail a large perimeter of the house, so I went through the bottle very quickly. He would spray again on day 2-3 after spraying. (Instructions state to reapply at least once a week) .
I think it is designed to be used as PART OF a holistic training program. My cat responded well to this very beginning part of his "behavior modification" program while getting him on track. After that, he must have held his breath!!
Overall, I thought it is a good detouring product but to rely on it alone would be costly and futile.

best of it's kind
I have used half a dozen other products without any success for Spike's occasional "accidents". This is the best of them all and the best thing is that it does not have a horrible smell like the others.

No-Go by Pet Organics
I think this product is best used on new carpets and rugs to discourage dogs from going on them. I have had 100% success with this product when I spray the new rugs. I have had little success with using it on already soiled rugs. It is the only product I have used that has been effective. I try to keep at least two bottles on hand.
