How this product should be used: Safe for use on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, 12 weeks of age or older. Using warm water, wet pet's coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo from tail to head and gently massage deep into coat and skin. Rinse thoroughly. Allow pet to stay indoors until thoroughly dry.

What are the side effects: There are no reported side effects.

What special precautions are there: This product is for topical use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.

In the event of overdose: Contact a veterinarian or veterinary emergency room if taken internally.

How should I store this product: Store this product at room temperature. Store in the original container. Keep out of the reach of children.

Only shampoo we'll ever use! My dog and I love this shampoo. It is very gentle and soothing, but cleans very well. It leaves her coat very soft and clean. The smell is the best part, though. It doesn't really smell like oatmeal or aloe vera, but more like cherries. I love the smell!!! 05/01/2012

Best Shampoo! I have been using this shampoo exclusively for my two Shih Tzus for 4 years now. This shampoo works so well for this type of dogs hair and skin. When mine were puppies I tried so many different brands and they would leave them either itchy, smelly or their hair would be too dry. It doesn't seem to bother their eyes at all when I shampoo their face. I do follow up with a different conditioner that is not sold here, but I never let myself run out of this shampoo, it's perfect for my babies. 10/16/2011

Is the Pharmaseb shampoo the only shampoo for sycoptic mange?

I have 3 large dogs and need to treat them all. vet said they need pharmaseb with ketoconazole 1%, chloroxylenol 2%

Pharmaseb shampoo treats the bacterial and yeast infections that accompany sarcoptic mange........It does not treat the
actual mange ( scabies ).....Vets sometimes will prescribe Interceptor Or
Ivermectin to get rid of the mange....But shampoos with antibacterial and antifungal
ingredients are often needed due to the damage to the skin......other possible shampoos similar to Pharmaseb are Malaseb and Malapet....and there is a prescription strength one too---Ketochlor---
Its a good idea to run this by your vet to see if they agree with one of the possible alternatives

How often can a cat be bathed who has flea allergies?

my cat has flea allergies and is in misery. I gave him a bath with the oatmeal & aloe shampoo and conditioner; he stopped tearing his skin up, but i am wondering how often do i need to give him a bath with the oatmeal & aloe for his flea allergy dermatitis, is it at the first sign of scratching?

Everything that has come in contact with the cat is either washed in hot water, the floors were treated with bleach, rinsed and mopped with hot water and pine sol . I only have tile and hardwood floors.

The oatmeal & aloe shampoo/conditioner is the best. I highly recommend this 100% for dogs and cats who have miliary dermatitis. It is safe and effective in calming the allergy irritation and healing the skin.

Oatmeal and Aloe Shampoo is perfectly safe and specifically formulated for use on pets. Each ingredient has a specific use including: cleanser, surfactant, moisturizer, preservative, etc. The bottom line, however, is the product is safe and effective.

That's hard to determine since you would use more shampoo on a larger dog than you would on a small dog. That being said, let's say you can get 6 or 7 shampoos out of a bottle, the average cost per application would be $1.07 to $1.25 at $7.49 per bottle.

what is the best shampoo

I have a female and male Golden Retrievers, she is scratching constantly-I had her to the vets a few times for this matter and a shot of cordisone helped for about 2 weeks. I was going to order Omega 3 and I guess a good shampoo--any sugesstions? She is currently on Nature's recipe Venison dry dog food.

Just give her a capsule of Fish Oil that you buy OTC and one or two "Benedryls". Ask you vet. The aloe and oatmeal shampoo and conditioner works wonders for my girls in conjunctin with the fish oil and allergy pills.
