Seems to have really helped cat's health
One of my two cats has always had really bad dandruff and constant nasal discharge. They have both eaten Friskies all their life, but after reading about cat food quality, I decided to see if it would be worth spending the extra money on a higher quality food. I tried Nature's Variety Instinct first, and although they scarfed the sample cans I bought, as soon as I bought a case they decided they didn't like it anymore. Spot's Stew, though, they LOVE. I started off mashing the vegetables because of other reviews, but one day I forgot and they ate it anyway, so I don't bother anymore.
The amazing thing is that the dandruff is pretty much gone, after about a month of the food. We haven't changed anything else in his diet or lifestyle, so I have to assume that's what made the difference. His nose is also a lot better - not perfect, but the amount of snot on the walls at cat height has really decreased. My mom has my cat's brother, who has similar problems, and I'm going to give her a few cans to try with him.
I really wish I'd started giving Spot's Stew years ago. It would have saved a whole lot on vet bills!

I am satisfied
I have 4 cats from ages 6 to 16. One or two were vomiting after eating, so I decided it was time to try something healthier for my cats. I have both canned and dry food for them. They enjoy both types, however, like all kids, they spit out the peas in the canned food.

Mixed reviews
I have four cats and two of them have had a couple of teeth removed. Because of that I decided to buy them some canned food for once a day feeding (they get a quarter cup four times a day).
I orginally ordered a different brand, but there was a problem with the shipping and it was sent back. It was then discontinued by 1-800-PetMeds.
After discussions with the nice young lady in customer service, she sent me a case of Halo Spot's food.
The two cats with missing teeth LOVED it and wanted it all the time. but the other two thought it smelled and refused it.

I just adopted a 1 year old cat who is feline leukemia positive, has a tendance towards forming crystals & has a horrible diarrhea problem. He has been on metronidozale for 2 weeks, and still has soft stools, in fact he doesn't seem to have control of his bowel movements. What do you think is best?
Thank you for your question Stefani and I'm sorry your furry buddy has this condition. I would choose a food that has limited ingredients. I would give him canned food. Cats are carnivores, and it's easier for them to digest meat-based food than dry food, which has a ton of grains and carbohydrates. The feeding guidelines are for cats are: Feed about 1 ounce per pound of body weight split into two meals. Example: 10 lb cat = 10 oz canned cat food / 2 meals: 5 oz of food morning and night
