How it works:
Dasuquin's active ingredients include avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) and chondroitin sulfate, as well as glucosamine. Glucosamine is a natural compound that is found in healthy cartilage in both humans and pets. It helps hydrate healthy joints by increasing the production of molecules that bind and hold water in the cartilage. Healthy cartilage provides cushioning which helps protect a pet's joints while exercising. Many believe that it provides clinical benefit in the synovial fluid by strengthening cartilage and aiding glycosaminoglycan synthesis. Further research on the effectiveness of glucosamine is still needed, but many of our customers find it to be very beneficial to their pets. The glucosamine is used in conjunction with sodium chondroitin sulfate, an important structural component of cartilage that provides much of its resistance to compression.

Amazing Results
At 5 yrs old our Shitzu-poodle ruptured a disc and had total of 5 discs repaired in her back and our then 1yr old Maltese-Yorkie has luxating patellas in both knees. Both in discomfort and Maltipoo couldnt run/play without hopping in pain. Now pups are 7 and 3 yrs old. Have given both 1/2 tablet everyday for 2+ years every morning and both go on walks and play daily without symptoms or pain. Results within first 2 weeks. They love it and think it's a special treat!!!

I mixed the capsule powder well into canned food. He ate a litle & then wouldn't eat that food again. Kept trying different & more expensive canned food (no grains). [Long since given up on solid.] Before, he would eat most canned food. Now he will only eat raw ground beef, chicken & sometimes canned salmon or tuna & my beef stew.

Dasuquin is great
I bought this to try instead of Cetyl M on my Corgi with hip dysplasia. She's had amazing results! After just a few weeks, she has much more mobility. She even wanted to follow us when we went on a horseback ride, something she has never done before. I know with humans there is a certain benefit when one believes in a treatment, but dogs sure don't know about this. I have not tasted Dasuquin, but the dog seems to love it. I have already recommended it to my friends.

cat hates it
she won't eat her canned food when I sprinkle this on it
even mixed in she walks away
hard to judge the effectiveness if I can't get her to take it

This product works great
I have a soon to be 13 year old Golden Retreiver. We are 4 weeks into this product and there has been a huge improvement in him. His back legs were getting very weak, and he was having a hard time with steps.
These meds, have improved his mobility, runs a little now and is more steady. He still hesitates when going up steps, but once he starts it seems easier for him to climb. I will continue to use this for as long as I have him.

Hi there, The dasuquin is used for joint support. You want to speak to your vet to get clarification and the issues your Furry Friend is having and what type of medication your vet should be giving you to resolve the bladder issue.
Our dog (german short hair pointer) has had torn ACL's in both knees over the past year. Our vet started giving him your product 2 months ago as part of his healing therapy. He's coming along very well so far. My wife and I have noticed lately that he is consuming a ton more water than he used to. Is this normal or should we consult our vet?
I have a three yr old Shar pei Collie mix and she was just recently diagnosed with a torn ACL. before I purchase this product and before I go ahead with surgery I wanted to know if this product would work for her.
Thank you for your question Hailey's mom. We are so sorry to hear that Hailey has a torn ACL and wish her speedy recovery. Please consult with your veterinarian to make sure that are no drug interactions with prescription & over the counter medication that Hailey may take after surgery.
