How it works:
The Cesar Millan Illusion Dog Collar & Leash System is designed to allow you to walk and train your dog using a slip collar correction - without having to stop and realign the collar to the proper position during the walk. Using the leash system, you will be able to firmly, yet quickly and gently correct your dog's behavior, and when you release pressure on the leash system, the collar will relax on your dog's neck.
Unlike most collars that rest on the strongest part of a dog's neck (the base), this collar remains at the top of your dogs neck, behind the ears, helping you more effectively correct your dog during walks. For best results, follow the instructions included with the collar and always walk your dog to your left.
Cautions:
If your dog's neck measures less than 13 inches or more than 23 inches around the base, you should NOT use the collar.
The Cesar Millan Illusion Dog Collar is not intended for dogs weighing less than 18 pounds (8.2 kilograms) or for puppies less than one year of age.
Certain dogs should not use the collar.
For example, THE FOLLOWING DOGS SHOULD NOT USE THIS COLLAR: Dogs with a neck measurement of less than 13 inches, dogs with any breathing problems, such as "pushed-in faces" that restrict breathing; dogs with trachea or throat problems, such as Pomeranians, or dogs with elongated, overly slender necks, such as Greyhounds; should not use this or any corrective collar. How to Use the Cesar Millan Illusion Dog Collar and Leash System:

Attaching the leash: Make sure you attach the leash to the larger O ring on the slip collar. The leash will not work if you attach it to the smaller ring.

Using the leash to correct your dogs behavior:
Correct your dog's behavior by quickly pulling on the leash (attached per the instructions). This will put pressure on your dog's neck, which should help correct any unwanted behavior. Once you have pulled on the leash, the pressure will be released, and the slip collar will return to the slack, loose position until you pull on it again.

To Clean: Hand wash by swishing in a basin of cold water with a small amount of laundry detergent. We recommend using unscented detergent to ensure that your pet has no reaction to chemical fragrances. Then pat dry with a towel, re-shape, and hang to dry. Do not dry in dryer or use fabric softener! The use of fabric softener will likely result in loss of rigidity and poor performance, and repeated use of fabric softener will break down fibers prematurely.
Tip: Remember to always remove the collar when you're not walking your dog.

To determine the proper collar size for your dog, measure the circumference of the throat at the base of the neck near the collarbone. Correct fit is important because the slip collar does not open and must be able to slide over your dog's head.

Love it!
Worth the money! Collar is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. At first i didnt want to order becuase of the price and 2 weeks later i did. I love it! 1st day i recieved i took my blue nose pitbull on a walk and he doesn't pull anymore. I'm going to order another one for my other pitt.

This collar is AMAZING!
This collar corrected my 100+ lb german shepherd, Ziva, with walking and obeying commands. She use to pull and take total control over where she walked, how fast she walked, etc. Now I AM in control of these! This collar was placed around Ziva's neck and only took a max of 5 minutes for Ziva to have corrected behavior! Thank you Ceasar and Pet Meds!!

This collar works
This collar gives me more control of my American Bulldog then any collar that I have tried . The soft choker is in the right place at all times.
I tried 7 different collars before I bought this one.

We have a 1 and a 1/2 year old Schnoodle that is difficult to walk as he goes nuts when he sees another dog or person. He weights 13 lbs and I like the idea of this collar, but I need something for a dog his size.
She pulls me and almost topples me over. She broke my hand once when she saw another dog who seemed aggressive. I held on but she was too strong, my hand broke but I did not let go. Otherwise she is the perfect dog. She walks off leash beautifully when we are away from other dogs,
I have to use a martindale collar on my dog because he likes to squirm backwards to get out of it while we're walking. Can this collar do the same thing?
This collar may be able to help with the issue of your dog squirming out. It is a slip collar, which is a different type of collar than the martingale.
