DO NOT BUY CAPSTAR
I cannot recomend capstar. It only works for a couple of days and then all the fleas came back.
Horrible experience for a product that is not cheap.

wonderful product
My cat developed a flea infestation while we were traveling & brought them home. Flea bombs in house, vaccuming, flea baths, & topical spot treatments did nothing to releave my cat's itching. Gave him the tablet, he stopped scratching within 2 hours. Bathed him with baby shampoo to get rid of flea droppings, etc.; first calm night in 3 weeks. Repeated the tablet every other day for the next week & now have my calm kitty back. Also gave him the Program tablet on the first day

capstar is great , cap star is made for a multi step purpose , the cap star tablet is to kill fleas with in hours , it does not repel fleas it does not keep fleas away
it is to get them off your dog or cat rt then , then you must use some thing like adavantage 2 or other
product , you need to read about all topical meds for fleas & ticks i really like first shield trio it kills
, all stages of fleas repels fleas , & ticks & mosquitos , flies lice ect , some topicals like
revolution protect against heart worms too you want a product that repels as well as kills
meaning they dont jump on & bite to be killed
front line only kills ticks / fleas it does not repel them
for fleas in the house use salt on floors / carpet or baking soda & salt & vacum up later
i did not have much luck with diatamacius earth i put all over my house & it made me cough due to powder
use neem oil cedar oil or get a flea trap
my daufgter says bowls of vinegar work they are attracted & die
she had a bad infestation inher house , also for dogs feed yeast on there food or garlic or garlic
oil , sm thing else natural that repels fleas / ticks you feed your dog ?
also yeast will cause dog breath to be al;ot better b?
any product will make dog scratch as they die avoid getting a dog wet with fleas they staer biting like crazy
as far as natural oils like cedar cinnomon , neem, lemon orange oil it may burn skin too test 1st ect be careful in a dog with resporitory issues because the oil i\s so strongly sented
lastly wen using dog shampoos for fleas that have pyrethrens that is a poison only use as directed you can not over use harmful to dog ,
also dawn blue dish soap the regular soap no additives will kill fleas this soap is also used on pengins & birds wen oil is spilled , safe for young puppies id use this b4 the pyrethren soaps
hope all this helps you , some methods used over & over fleas ticks lice become immune to
also any topicals for fleas/ ticks that say repel mosquitos , you still must use a heart worm

Outstanding
Could not believe how quickly it worked. I used it on 2 Jack Russell dogs and 14 year old cat. You still have to follow with the monthly flea drops. But this is almost instant relief for the pets... Expensive but well worth the cost.

The Capstar is a great product to use as needed but most veterinarians recommend using Capstar for flea infestations and then following up with Frontline Plus or Advantage for your kitty to prevent reinfestations. Using Capstar daily may cause kidney and liver damage after prolonged use....
My toddler constantly cuddles with our dogs and pets them. Is it ok for her to be around them after we use capstar and program? Pet them? For them to lick her? And if not, how long should we keep her away from the dogs?
Yes there is nothing wrong with your toddler and your furry pet coming into contact with each other. The products mentioned will have no affect on your toddler after your pet has taken them.
