works ok My dog hates it, but i think it helps his breath smell better. I prefer the wipes. 12/13/2011
stress free dental care The C.E.T. rinse is the best product for my Yorkie's (Kieran)dental care. It is easy to use and keeps his teeth clean and the whitest I've seen in years. Great product at the best price in the market. 11/21/2011
Better than ordinary This is the product that I began using 10, to 20 years ago. It looks different now, and may have had another name, but the ingredients were the same. Back then, as now, it was a Vet that recomended it, and every Vet I've had since is recomending it. It's the zinc. That's what my first Vet liked about it. It's even better if you soak a tooth brush in it, and then brush your dogs teeth. Won't remove any plaque your dog already has, but like people, it will pervent a lot of it. 04/29/2011
C. E. T. 0.12% Chlorhexidine Rinse My kitty, Billy, had a stroke with left him with limited use of his rear left leg and with incontenance. I use this product to clean him after he pees/moves his bowels. Although he's prone to urinary tract infection, this product helps me keep him healthier. 12/27/2010
Good Purchase I have found that this product does help my dogs breath and general mouth wellness - I brush my dogs teeth every night and then put a drop or so on the toothbrush and brush in mouth again 01/09/2010

It should not harm your cat is some is swallowed. I suggest you use an applicator such as a soft-bristled toothbrush. Place a small amount of the rinse in a container. Gently hold your pet's head and dip the toothbrush or other applicator in the rinse. Carefully brush your pet's teeth in a gentle, circular motion. Re-moisten the applicator as needed. This way your cat will not ingest much at all.

If your dog has bleeding gums, then you should have your pet examined by a veterinarian. Bleeding gums are usually a sign of advanced gum disease.

Hi, great question. You should discontinue using the C.E.T. Chlorhexidine Rinse and use a dog toothbrush and toothpaste as soon as the bleeding subsides.

A:
Hello Mott2,
We hope you and your pet are doing well today. Unfortunately you can use the C.E.T.Chlorhexidine Rinse topically. Nor can you mixe it in with a shampoo. It will not be effective. You can bathe your pet in a mild Oatmeal shampoo. Then you can use the Nolvasan Skin & Wound Cleanser right after on the wounds. Please see link below for product details and benfits.
