Bio Spot for Puppies, Toys and Miniatures under 15 lbs:
I have been using Sentinel and somehow my dog got fleas REALLY bad. I picked this up to tied me over until I could order some stronger stuff, but have not been impressed. It is messy, doesn't absorb into my dogs skin, and I still find fleas daily. I don't want my son to pet Max right now beacuse I feel like he is covered in pesticide, Am ording Revolution as soon as I finish typing this. Don't wastet your money.
This product works to an extent, there are 3 animals I purchased this for, this is the 3rd month that they have been receiving treatment. There has been a decrease in the amount of fleas but there definatley is still an issue. Hopefully by the end of the 6 months that I purchased, the infestation will be completely gone. We also have been using home treatments on our furnishings, and carpets... as well as brushing the animals regularly with a flea comb.
Purchased to see how it held up since cost was so much less. It did not compare to Revolution or Advantix and required other treatment which actually made it more expensive. Will not use again and would not recommend.
I tried this product on the recommendation of my boss who lives on a farm and has never had an issue with fleas or ticks with his dogs. My dogs go to the dog park at least once a week and have never come home with fleas or ticks. I wouldn't recommend this to get rid of fleas if they already have them, use one of the strong products from the Vet. But for preventative measures, I love this product and love that it doesn't cost me a small fortune.
This stuff smells great, but does not work at all. My dog had fleas for the first time in her life. I threw away 4 doses because I wouldn't even give them to a friend. Not one I wanted to stay friendly with, anyway. Don't waste your money.
I would not put the entire tube on her all at once. Just like when you dye your hair try a little bit each day until you empty the tube. Just put a piece of tape over the open tube. Do it in the evening so you can watch her all night - don't do it and leave her - do it so you can watch her for at least 5 hours.

What main ingredients make Bio Spot better than Frontline or Pet Armour? And how can I be certain that Bio Spot is better for my dog...German Shepard/Chow?
Sierra, yes, you can use Bio Spot if the dog has a tick, the product is designed to kill any ticks on the dog when you apply the medication, and then repel mosquitoes, fleas and ticks for a month.
