Best for my pets
It seems from the reviews, either this stuff works or it doesn't. Well it has worked great for us for years. We have dog (and 3 outdoor cats) and live in a heavy tick area. We've tried the other name brands and they didn't work on. With Bio Spot we no longer find ticks on the pets or in the house, making me VERY happy. While ticks are my biggest concern, I should mention we've never had any fleas either.

flea magnet?
Switched from frontline to biospot. Within 2 months, my dogs had fleas. It took me another 3 months to fully break the flea cycle and rid my dogs and house of fleas. Will NEVER make that mistake again!

Petroleum oder sensitivity?
I used to work as a Certified Veterinary Nurse and have had experience with several products that kill/repel the problem. I always found the petroleum derived products to do the job but the smell left behind was offensive/
With BioSpot a citrus oder covers my dogs! They have not given off that auto garage fume for many years and have not had any problem with skin, coat or parasites. I haven't used anything else since I started using BioSpot!
NOTE:This review template asked about "Taste". I'm afraid I haven't taken my research to that level. Sorry.

It works
Applied to my Boxer/greyhound mix after a tick got on him. 4 years later I can honestly say that he has not had another tick nor a flea since using it. I understand some animals can't handle it but my mutt had no problems ever with it. My vet does not recommend it but agrees that if it works to use it.

should be, its a flea and tick topical preventative not a heartworm medicine. I have not found any issues with it, no different than frontline or advantix.
I would not put the entire tube on her all at once. Just like when you dye your hair try a little bit each day until you empty the tube. Just put a piece of tape over the open tube. Do it in the evening so you can watch her all night - don't do it and leave her - do it so you can watch her for at least 5 hours.
Our vet told us that this product is actually a very potent insectacide is not good for your dog and can kill your cat, that is just when you are following the instructions. We used this product on our dog before we knew it was dangerous and not only is it bad for the dog but did not keep a tick off of her and now she has limes disease. I'm guessing ingesting it is, BAD.
Bio Spot is an insecticide product containing permethrin and s-methoprene. Both of these products can be harmful if ingested by your pet. Store this product out of the reach of children and pets and use the product as directed by the manufacturer on the package label.
