How this product should be used: Buckle collar around dog/puppies neck. What are the side effects: When collar is first worn, observe neck area every few days for irritation. Remove collar at first sign of irritation or adverse reaction. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, remove collar and bathe dog/puppy with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water.
What special precautions are there: Read entire label before each use. For animals, consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, medicated, or nursing animals. Do not use on dogs/puppies less than 12 weeks of age. Do not use this product on dogs/puppies simultaneously or within 30 days before or after treatment with or exposure to cholinesterase inhibiting drugs or pesticides (e.g. carbaryl or tetrachlorvinphos, etc.). For humans, do not get dust or collar in mouth. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Do not open package until ready to use. Do not allow children to play with collar. Pesticidal dust will form on this collar during storage. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling collar.

This collar has a very loud smell for a few days, but is very effective. No signs of fleas on Sachi nor my large lab, Misty.

works enough
This collar works well enough I haven't had any issues with fleas but have found the occasional tick. The major downside of it is it makes her very itchy. (itchiness is not from fleas, it must be some ingredient causing this)

It dosen't work!!!!
With 4 pets in the house fleas and ticks are a major concern. We have seen no change in the flea population with this product, have had one dog (Dorah) that has been diagnosed with Limes, Guess that shows how well the collars work on ticks. We are very disappointed with Bio Spot.

Fairly Effective
I've read several reviews and was a bit leery of the product. However, I find the collar decent at keeping the ticks at bay. We have a huge population of ticks in our area.
This was the first time using Bio Spot for anything, but it was the only thing readily available at the time I needed something.
Our puppy is only 14 weeks and has not had any adverse reactions that we've noticed.
With regard to handling fleas, Roscoe received a flea bath just prior to receiving his new collar--have not found any fleas on him.

Never again!
I couldn't stand the smell of the collar, (or my dog for a week after I took off the collar and threw it away!) Terrible product!

Hi there, BioSpot collar also has flea medication so you dont want to double dose them. However we have a tick collar called Preventic Amitraz Tick Collar. This would work perfect for you. :)
Thank you for your question, I would not recommend using both of these together without consulting your veterinarian to avoid possible over medication of your furry friend.
The fact that there was a *Caution* and we could have health issues scared me, I don't want to think that I could get ill If I forget to wash my hands or wear gloves after I put it on my dog.
