Excellent product!
Our shepherd/collie has been chewing herself raw, creating bald spots on various parts of her body every winter since we got her.
Since it's only during the winter months, we figured it was due to dry skin, and when I read about this product, decided we could give it a try.
As someone else mentioned, the smell is a bit nasty, but for the immediate relief the spray seems to give her, we'll suffer with it!
Super easy to use! If we catch her chewing on herself, we grab the bottle and give her a couple sprays to the area. It must work on contact, and we've never seen her go back to a treated spot yet. Have never seen her licking it off either.
Your people told me this stuff will be "good" for years, so we shouldn't have any more problems with the itching she was suffering from .
Thanks for a great product!

BE SOOTHED product review:
As a more holistic oriented vet, I am always looking for natural alternatives to treating the always frustrating skin cases we are presented with in every day veterinary practice. This wonderful topical product has a wide variety of potential applications in various skin conditions. Not only does the tea tree oil help against overgrowth of bacteria and fungi, which are often secondary complications in dogs with various types of allergies and hormonal disorders, but the oil is also very soothing and pain relieving in those itchy dogs with allergic areas of inflammation known as hot spots. For those into natural skin treatments for their pets, I will often combine using such a topical product on affected areas of skin, along with all natural yucca intensive, also available from 1800petmeds. With antioxidant supplements like proanthozone, as well as fatty acids like Super Omega 3 from 1800petmeds, one can often use lower amounts of both topical drugs and oral drugs like cortisone, strong anti fungal drugs and antibiotics, which can sometimes be overused in veterinary practice. The only rare side effects I have seen are occasional a pet can be irritated or have a contact sensitivity to this product, but this is very rare. Clients should also know that this product should not be used on cats My overall rating of this product is a 4.5. Its efficacy is a 5 and its ease of use a 5 as well.

However, it is safe to apply topical flea and tick medication 24 hours before applying Be Soothed Tea Tree Oil Skin Relief....
I don't think it is terribly oily, I spray it on my dog any time I notice irritations and I haven't noticed her feeling oily afterwards or having an oily feeling on my hands.
Thank you for your question Miki. Your furry buddy will be happy to know that our Be Soothed, Tea Tree Oil Skin Relief, Item 10989, is not an oily spray.
