The Airline Pet Carrier is the perfect pet accessory when traveling with your small dog or cat. The plastic framing, sturdy wire door, and secure locking system provide a safe and secure area for your pet to rest while traveling, or it can also be used as a basic tool for house breaking. The rear and side vents allow for plenty of airflow and the top handle simplifies carrying the pet carrier. Although this pet carrier is approved for airline use, we recommend checking with your airline's specific requirements to ensure this kennel is suitable.

How it works:
The Airline Pet Carrier is great for:
•
Airline travel – Meets most airline requirements for bringing pets on board. (We recommend checking with your airline for specific requirements.)
•
General travel – Perfect for bringing your pet to the vet or to visit friends and family.
•
House breaking – Pets do not normally urinate or defecate where they sleep, which means no accidents in the home.
•
Training with multiple pets – Using a crate can reduce the aggressiveness between pets when training.
Cautions:
Check with the airline at least two weeks in advance for their specific rules and requirements. To avoid strangulation, never leave a pet unattended with a collar on, including inside a kennel.
Periodically inspect the plastic shell for cracks, especially after exposing the kennel to severe shocks, changes in temperature or other harsh or challenging conditions. Young animals should be allowed out of their kennel well before the limits of their bladder and bowel control will tolerate. Never stack kennels with animals inside. Check and tighten latches and screws periodically, especially before moving your animal in the kennel.
The Airline Pet Carrier consists of three parts:
(1) plastic top section; (2) plastic
bottom section; (3) steel door.
Assembling the Airline Pet Carrier:
•
Start with the kennel halves (top half under bottom half). Separate
the two halves and place the bottom
half on top half, making sure that the
dial latches are in open position.
•
Hold kennel halves apart
and place the metal door in opening so
the ends of hinge and latch rods fit in holes. Now fit the halves together so the hinge
and latch rod fit into the holes.
•
Once kennel bottom and door are in
place, rotate the dial latches in the direction of
arrows to close. Turn kennel right side
up. Check dial latches periodically for
extra security.
Tip: For additional security
during airline travel, a standard kennel
nut and bolt, a small clip or a padlock
on dial latches may be used.

its a cat carrier
works great for adult and kittens cat s but i wud buy the largest on e for a dog
08/16/2011
He is kind of big for his age and he has never been on an airplane before. He is about 10 years old and is generally a good traveller. Would he be able to stand in the largest size comfortably or should I look for a different carrier?
I'm traveling internationally with my dogs and one of the requirements is for the latches that holds the top and bottom together be of metal, are metal fasteners available? Can the plastic fasteners be replaced with metal fasteners? thank you
It will be for both domestic and international flights, and I never crate trained him because he HATED it. He is a sweetheart with travel anxiety, although he is extremely well trained on and off leash with verbal commands and hand signals. I'm having trouble finding a crate large and comfortable enough for him, and can't stand the though of leaving my baby home with family for a month or two while I travel. I could also use some advice on how to crate train a 4 y/o mush, although he is very intelligent and learns quickly. He just HATES crates! Please help me with my big baby!
