Advantage Multi is rated 4.1341 out of 5 by 246.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome results Three cats, two with terrible hair loss, and skin irritation. Did not know what the cause, was using Frontline and had used Frontline for 6 years. Vet said flea allergy, could hardly believe that Frontline did not work. In two weeks time, their skin began to clear up, scabs, disappearing. By the third week clear skin, hair growing back. After 6 weeks it was like a miracle. Beautiful coats of fir, and no scratching. So happy for my cats comfort. Swear by Advantage Multi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-In-One Application! I've been using this product for over a year when my vet recommended switching to this one application instead of giving 2 separate ones (flea and heartworm). It's convenient and easy to use. I use it on both of my dogs and because they're right in the same weight bracket, I'm able to order one 6 month supply package every 3 months. Although my dogs aren't necessarily outdoor dogs, I've never had any issues with fleas or other. The only downside I have to say about this product is it does in fact stink for a few days after the application. It's a chemical type smell. It's pretty annoying and it gets on my floors but it just gets me an excuse to get my mopping done. Not enough of a complaint for me to stop using it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ineffective on fleas I ordered this product a few months ago and am sorry I ordered a year supply. I apply it to my dog according to the directions. Two weeks after application I find fleas on my dog. I will switching products and throwing the remainder of the doses away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good and effective product I have been using this for over 2 years since my Vet went to an oral medicine. I have a Bichon Frise which is highly allergic to most meds. This medicine does smell but it only has to be on the animal for 2 days. After that he is bathed. His checkups for heartworm is always negative and never have a even seen a flea on him. I love Pet Meds because it is so convenient for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Advantage Multi My cat Van Gogh has a severe allergy to fleas. I tried everything. He had pulled most of his hair out and was scratching himself bloody. I did some research and tried Advantage Multi. His hair has grown back and he is like a very happy voracious cat. I was buying from my vet and saw a huge discount with PedMets. It saved me $37.00 for a 6 pack. Which is great. Try this product. Van Gogh recommends it.

If i am going on vacation, is it ok to give my dog her next treatment 3 days late?

It is ideal to give the treatment every 30 days, however a 3 day lapse should not be an issue.

I took in a stray cat that I have decided to keep. Took to the vet as soon as they opened 2 days later. Now later this evening I am seeing the fleas crawling around out of the cat. Can these fleas still lay eggs? Are they dying or going to hang around?

Asked by: nastenka
The fleas can still lay eggs if they are alive. If your pet has been treated for fleas you may start to see the fleas dying. If not, you may consider having your doctor recommend a treatment for fleas.

My dog is a 55 lb Siberia Husky with a very dense coat of hair.  If we are unable to reach the skin up and down the back, is there another site where this product can be applied?

Asked by: Roseybud
While your dog is standing, apply Advantage Multi topically by parting the hair on the back of the dog between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin at one spot between the shoulder blades. It should be applied to an area that the pet cannot reach and lick.

I just bathed by dog , when should I apply adv multi on him ?

Asked by: Lea2228
It is recommended that you wait a day or two after a bathe before applying Advantage Multi. While the heartworm prevention part will be absorbed rapidly no matter when it is , for best results for the flea control, the natural oils on the pet's skin should be present as that helps the product spread over the entire body properly.

You state that treats flea infestation. So does that mean all fleas, larvae, and fleas on all areas as Advantage does

Asked by: Pgraves
This product is exactly like Advantage II but also has another medication in it to prevent heartworms and treat intestinal worms.
